The US Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded a contract to expand the National Cementary in Rock Island, IL, by 7000 gravesites. Given the point we are at, this is nothing less than disturbing news.

re: A Little Help, Please: The Final Question is Answered

Sometimes, its better to be lucky than good. While surfing through Wikipedia on the subject of science fiction movies, I stumbled upon the answer to the final question from my earlier post.

I did not know the movie was originally made in Czechoslovakia in 1955 and then later updated by an American director who inserted American boys into the film and changed the setting to New York City. It was the revised version VML and I saw at the theater in 1968. The links to the original and updated version are:
