A. Corporate Stupidity and Arrogance Will Cost Southland Plenty

It is clear this man was fired illegally and wrongfully. He will be getting plenty of money soon enough as intelligent attorneys will be successful in making Southland pay. Convenience stores love illegals as they are a demographic that they can easily exploit and take advantage of. Payback will be sweet revenge for this evil corporation's greed, arrogance, and stupidity.

B. Coal to Liquids Plant Construction Nears

As America seeks alternative energy and fuel, particularly for transportation, the report of the impending construction of this plant is excellent news. Elk Mountain is about 75 miles NW of Laramie along I-80 at the northern tip of the Snowy Range Mountains and is a totally rural area. Hopefully the plant construction will be done in an esthetically and pleasing way and the plant will be not visible from the highway and spoil the views.

C. Health Care Must be Taken From the Private Sector

D. Cuban Looks to Purchase Chicago Cubs... May He Fail !

I, too, hope Mark Cuban is unsuccessful in his attempt to purchase the Chicago Cubs later this year. Then maybe he can purchase the Colorado Rockies and relieve the fans of this team throughout the Mountain Time Zone of the unbelievably terrible and laughable ownership group of the Monfort Brothers. These two Greeley boobs have really ran this club into the ground and many fans have deserted the team as a result. All the promise and goodwill that began before Opening Day 1993 and continued later into the decade is now largely gone and there are only Charlie and Dick to blame. The sooner they sell, particularly to a committed and passionate man like Cuban who possesses adequate resources for an enterprise like professional sports, the better off we will all be.

F. Bush Junta Blocking Investigation of Death of Pat Tillman

As I believe, the Bush Junta is involved in the coverup of the facts surrounding the death of Pat Tillman. I believe Bush, Cheney, Rove, and/or Rumsfeld ordered officers and commanders in the field and theater to lie about the circumstances of this death in order to use it for political gain and propaganda. Hopefully the full truth will emerge and justice will be served on these traitors.

G. A Link to a Little Known Part of Rocky Mountain Regional History Passes

Nearly a century has passed since the horror of this history occurred, and it is remarkable that so few know of this massacre. The date of this should be a state holiday in Colorado and should be commemorated in ceremonies to increase public awareness and enlarge the flickering memories. The citizenry has to be made aware of past excesses and crimes by corporations and their government agents that continues in even more tragic ways today.
