| Statement as of 8:12 am MDT on April 20, 2009 ... April 2009 one of the top ten snowiest Aprils in Cheyenne... The weekend snow brought the total April snowfall in Cheyenne to 26.2 inches. That ties with April 1945 as the 7th snowiest April ever on record in Cheyenne since 1883. Though quite a bit of snow has fallen this month, it is still far short of Cheyenne's all-time snowiest April... which occurred in 1905 when 46.5 inches fell. This April is the snowiest in Cheyenne since 1984 when 31.8 inches was recorded. | ||
