The news of the demise of the Albuquerque Tribune newspaper is very troubling and disappointing. Fortunately there are some alternatives to partially fill the void. Unfortunately one of them isn't the Albuquerque Journal. You have to subscribe to that newspaper or suffer the indignity of being extorted by them in order to read its content online. If anyone has a subscription account ID they want to share with me so I can access the Journal website, please email me at mtzperspective@mail.com with the information. This ridiculous situation is unique as I have never seen any other newspaper with these restrictions and only handful of other media anywhere in cyberspace with this as well.
