Considering that Seattle is highly environmentally conscious area, it is somewhat surprising that mass transit there is among the poorest in the major West Coast cities. The election coming up on Tuesday 6 November will determine if an ambitious broad plan will begin to be undertaken over the next two decades and more. The entire Seattle/King County metropolitan area and adjacent counties will be undergoing a significant infrastructural facelift and traffic will be of a greater annoyance for quite some time in many places.
