B. City of Denver Plans Widescale Attack on Local Sources of Global Warming

I like what I read here, but it is rather ambitious and will require a major change in the consciousness of many of the locals there and corporations and business. During my ten years working there, I must have thrown into the trash about three tons or so of cardboard being scrapped by braindead employers that I worked for. I wonder if this waste will be included in the program. And what about all the waste generated by retailers and restaurants ? The quantity those businesses waste is incredible. And most of it will have not decayed in a couple of thousand years or more.

F. Does Bill Richardson Have the Right Stuff ?


Despite his upbeat message in his campaigning so far, the New Mexico governor has done little to capture the imagination of the electorate thus far. His record on the all important issue of health care is so-so, and he has offered little to deal with the reality of Iraq beyond the blind cries of most liberal Democrats. He better come up with some new ideas and policy proposals because it looks like he will a goner in the race by the end of next February based on what we know today.
