Arctic Sea to be Ice-Free by 2012 !

This is one possible conclusion envisioned by researchers looking into the changing climate and ecosystem of the Arctic region. This scenario seems to be unlikely, but just a few years ago scientists believed it would be impossible for at least another century. What other enormous tumultuous changes await us are sure to be as alarming and possibly beyond our current imagination.
