Like millions of other fans around the globe, I am quite surprised to see the New York Giants win this year's Super Bowl and end the undefeated season of the New England Patriots. I believed the Giants would keep it close and probably cover the 12 point spread, but I believed New England's offense would be too much but the Jints played a great game defensively holding the Patriots to just two scores. I thoroughly enjoyed the halftime concert by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with their five song set. Look for first game of the 2008 NFL regular season on Thursday 4 September to be the new World Champion New York Giants hosting the galacticly evil Dallas Cocaineboys, just seven months and one day from now.I can't wait for the Redsox to beat out the Yankees to shut up New Yorkers' mouths soon enough as Northeast bragging rights for now will be in the Big Apple until Autumn, although the Knicks and Rangers are not going anywhere while the Celtics and Bruins are destined to do much better this spring.
