Rockies Take Big 2-0 Lead in NLCS !!

It took eleven innings, but the Colorado Rockies got it done with a 3-2 win over Arizona in Phoenix to get half-way to the National League Pennant. It took a bases loaded walk off the Arizona closer to score the winning run. Both games so far have been close with not a lot of offense, but Arizona has made a couple of base running errors and left a lot of runners on base. Colorado made a number of exceptional defensive plays to keep the Diamondbacks at bay including a great 7th inning full extension diving catch by CF Willy Taveras of a deep fly hit by Tony Clark to kill a potential rally. The game did not end until after 12:45 am Saturday, lasting about four and one-half hours.

Game three is Sunday night at 6pm at the Keg with Fogg v Hernandez. The weather could be a factor as the forecast is for cool temps and a pretty good chance for rain.

This run is so incredibly amazing ! 19 wins in 20 games at this time of the season and only two wins away from the World Series ! YEEHAW !! YEAH !!
