We had two nice spring days here on the Northern Front Range, as the temperature reached 76 degrees, the warmest its been since last 25 October, 173 days ago and only one degree off the record from back in 1898. Places in nearby western Nebraska and NE Colorado neared 90 degrees. There has been bright sunshine and light winds the last two days, and I took the opportunity to enjoy the nice day today and sat out on the deck and read. Unfortunately, it is still April so once again the winds of change are blowing a mid Spring storm as temperatures will be 35 degrees colder on Wednesday with a good chance of snow and perhaps an accumulation of an inch or so of snow. I can hear the winds blowing furiously through the vents announcing the pending change. We will be getting off easy here as the forecast for where my brother and his family lives 130 miles south is much more dynamic as upwards of a foot of snow will fall in the next 48 hours. But, being that it is April, we will all see a quick recovery as it will be back around 70 degrees by Saturday. Its nice to be out of hibernation after over five months of persistent largely cold windy weather.*****
