It is being reported that Panasonic will debut a 150" Plasma HDTV at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January. This would mark a nearly 50 % increase over the current largest TV available which costs a tidy $70,000. One would think the new monster will be priced near one hundred grand, but one also suspects an even larger Sharp, Sony, Mitsubishi, or Hitachi will be debuted in the very near future for less money. Nice thing to buy if you win a big Powerball Lottery. Sharp is regarded as the industry leader in this kind of consumer electronics so their next fantasy monster will be the state-of -the art leader.
